Thomas has received acclaim for his work in rejuvenating Bradford Festival Choral Society, one of Britain's oldest amateur choirs, and formerly directed by such luminaries as Malcolm Sargent, David Wilcocks, Richard Hickox and Brian Kay. The chorus is now regaining its position as one of Yorkshire's foremost choirs, recognized particularly for its vibrant sound and committed performances.
His work for the Diocese of Leeds' superb schools choral programme sees him workng regularly with children across West and North Yorkshire, bringing high quality choral singing to the classroom.
With an inspirational and technically adept approach to choral training he is increasingly in demand as a guest conductor and workshop leader, with 2012 engagements including the Association of British Choral Directors' national convention.
